Measuring system XC-2102 with sensor X-102 for measuring yoke strain in elevators.


The starting point is a consideration of where on the yoke the optimal mounting position would be located. The portable and very robust sensor reduces this to a quite simple task because it can be attached to the yoke by strong magnets and will report the strain in that location. This is possible even if the yoke is dirty, uneven, or covered by a coat of paint. In this way by moving the sensor you can very quickly find the optimum mounting position, and even more importantly, unsuitable positions can be recognized before drilling any holes.

Scope of application

Elevators: Output devices
Output devices from X-SENSORS convert sensor measurements into current-loop, voltage, frequency, LON bus, CAN bus, CAN Open, relay closures and so on. If the hardware configuration is know, the electronics can apply null-point correction for especially precise measured results. The output devices can also provide programmable slack-cable detection.
Injection molding: Universal display device
The X-315 display unit processes the sensor signals perfectly. It can be placed anywhere and used to output the results as well as displaying them. Close by the four individual displays is a single display which can show either the average or the sum of the readings. The readouts can display results in different ranges and physical units and can also be used as sensor amplifiers producing a standardized output signal. The various parameter values can be stored in advance, simplifying on-site operation.
