The S-shaped Tension and Compression Force Sensor is particularly suitable forhighly stable force measurements of static loads with a high output signal. Especially for weighing applications in the force range from 1 kg to 100 kg, this S-shaped Force Sensor is characterised byexcellent linearity and stability.
The force is applied via the two internal threads. The Load Cell can be usedas a tension or compression Force Sensor.
The Force Sensor can also beprofessionally installed via thetwo internal threads. The solid steel housing and the S-type design according to IP65 guarantee problem-free operation, even under difficult environmental conditions.

Installation and deployment
Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Sensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of control systems already allow the direct connection of Force Sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring Amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring Amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / design
The advantages of the S-shaped Load Cells are their compact design and easy handling . The Tension and Compression Force Sensor is versatile and isused in container weighing, dosing technology ,tension force measurement in wire or thread winders, test and analysis systems in industry, load monitoring inindustrial plants andfilling monitoring.
The Load Cell is easily mounted via the two internal threads.
