X-Sensors develops and produces force and strain sensors for process monitoring and process control in mechanical and industrial engineering. For more than 20 years our sensors have been reliably monitoring the forces in our customers applications.
Our product range includes strain and pressure force sensors, load cells, inline and S-type force sensors as well as reference force transducers.
We have different versions of the strain transducers, which differ in terms of mounting (hole pattern), measuring range and IP protection.
Furthermore we have a lot of experience in the design of customized force sensors. To obtain reliable measurement results it is often inevitable to adapt the force and strain sensors to the specific requirements. Our production network is based on three manufacturing sites in Switzerland, Eastern Europe and the Far East. This enables us to efficiently realize highly specialized small series as well as large series. Our force and strain sensors are based on the proven strain gauge technology. Via strain gauges we measure tiny strains in our sensor units and convert them into a linear output signal.
Matching the sensors we have different measuring amplifiers in our program, which are the interface to the control system. In addition to classic analog signals (4-20 mA and ±10 V), we are pioneers with our strain gauge sensor gateway, which can provide the measurement data via MQTT directly to an IoT platform (Sensor to Cloud).
