The measuring Amplifier X-201-IP08 was developed for universal and simple operation. The zero adjustment is done by the zero adjustment mechanism.

Thanks to the robust aluminium housing, this measuring Amplifier is also suitable for direct mounting in harsh environmental conditions.

Installation and deployment

The measuring Amplifiers from X-Sensors are suitable for universal signal conditioning of resistive strain gauge measuring bridges and piezoresistive Sensors. They are thus suitable for amplifying the mV/V-Sensor signal of force and strain sensors to control inputs. The robust aluminium housing makes this measuring Amplifier suitable for direct mounting in harsh environmental conditions.

Due to the control input for automatic zero point adjustment, the transducer can be used very well in cyclic applications. Cyclic applications describe recurring, fast force cycles. Here it is important that a zero point adjustment is carried out at regular intervals in order to prevent the measuring signal from drifting.

Zero point adjustment

Zero adjustment on these Amplifiers is done by a digital zero adjustment mechanism. The zero point setting is not stored permanently, i.e. it is lost after switching off. Stable process tare is therefore available regardless of the cycle times. Therefore, these measuring Amplifiers are suitable for all dynamic applications. They can be used in all applications that require a periodic zero point reset.

The zero point adjustment is triggered via an external reset, or tare control input. The mechanism is available with “Active Low” and “Active High” logic.

Electrical connection

The measuring Amplifiers are available with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA), which amplify strain gauge full bridges accordingly.
