The Force Sensor is suitable both as a tensile Force Sensor and as a compressive Force Sensor in static and dynamic applications.
For the measuring principle of the Inline Force Sensors, diaphragm measuring bodies are used on which the strain gauges are applied. The strain gauge Force Sensor is integrated directly into the force flow and the force is applied centrically and axially via the two threaded bolts. The load cell offers uncomplicated load introduction via the opposite threaded connections.
The X-137 Tension and Compression Force Sensor measures precisely and quickly in the force range from 50 N to 1000 N and offers excellent long-term stability. The diameter of the load cell is 24.4 mm. In addition, the Sensor comes with two M5 or two M6 external threads, depending on the force range.

Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Ssensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of controllers already allow the direct connection of force sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring Amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring Amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / construction
Due to their compact design, our tension and compression Force Sensors are suitable for mounting in very limited spaces. The force is applied via the respective internal and external threads, via which the tensile and compressive force is centrally absorbed.
Due to the solid, weatherproof stainless steel housing, according to IP 65, the tension and compression Force Sensors are very reliable and robust. This guarantees problem-free operation even under harsh environmental conditions. These properties make the load cells ideally suited for a wide range of applications where high accuracy is required, such as force monitoring in pressing and joining processes, apparatus engineering, toolmaking, special machine construction and industrial production automation.
