The Tension and Compression Load Sensor is highly accurate and suitable for applications where high accuracy is required. The Load Cell is suitable for measuring static and dynamic tensile and compressive forces. In addition, the Load Sensor has a flat design for use in confined spaces.
The solid steel housing and the sealed design according to IP66 guarantee problem-free operation, even under difficult environmental conditions. An M16 to M60 internal thread (depending on the force range) runs through the centre axis of the Load Cell, to which a load application button or an adapter part can be attached, via which the force is applied. The Load Cell can be supplied with a factory calibration certificate on request.
The Load Cell X-134-L measures linearly in the force range of 5.0 – 2000 kN based on the proven strain gauge technology. The diameter is 105 – 205 mm, depending on the force range.

Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Sensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of controllers already allow the direct connection of Force Sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / construction
Due to their compact design, our tension and compression force Sensors are suitable for mounting in very limited spaces. The force is applied via the respective internal and external threads, via which the tensile and compressive force is centrally absorbed.
Due to the solid, weatherproof stainless steel housing according to IP 66, the X-134-L is very reliable and robust. This guarantees problem-free operation even in harsh environmental conditions.
The flat design makes the tension and compression Force Sensor particularly versatile. The mounting of the flat Pressure Cell is uncomplicated by means of the 8 through-holes on a ground and hardened surface.
Existing structures can be easily retrofitted with the strain gauge force Sensor in this way. Areas of application are reference measurements, mechanical engineering, force detection and control in assembly and joining equipment, measurement of press-in and insertion forces and function control of assemblies.
